Aug 22 2014 - 10:05am

While TV fans are on pins and needles waiting to see whether their favorite dramas and comedies will win big come Sunday, our attention is firmly planted on the red carpet. Because we still have a few days to wait, we're looking back at all the silver screen glamour of last year's Emmy Awards. Revisit what all your favorite stars wore then, and then see what we predict they'll be wearing this year [1]!

Armani Privé spelled easy glamour for Claire Danes [2].

Christina Hendricks went for all black in a Christian Siriano gown. Her final touches came from an Edie Parker bag and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

January Jones [3] might have quipped that she made her rose-pink dress, but don't be fooled — it was Givenchy created just for her.

When Emilia Clarke took the stage in her custom Donna Karan Atelier gown and Forevermark diamonds, we took notice!

Robin Wright's Ralph Lauren Collection gown was among the most elegant of the evening.

Electric blue wowed on Edie Falco's custom Escada dress.

Lena Dunham picked a Prada ball gown with scattered red blooms.

An elegant column gown, Lorraine Schwartz turquoise earrings, and a Judith Leiber Couture clutch looked flawless on Jane Krakowski.

Kerry Washington [4] was a girlie girl's dream in a pale pink Marchesa dress peppered with flowers. Her jewels were by Fred Leighton.

As if she could do anything but, Sofia Vergara sizzled in a red Vera Wang dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

The LBD wasn't so little in Vera Farmiga's case. The actress chose a full-skirted gown with sheer, elbow-length sleeves and Fred Leighton jewelry.

The silhouette of Julie Bowen's pale pink Zac Posen gown was absolutely breathtaking. To carry her necessities, the actress chose a Marchesa clutch. For glitz, she went with Jacob & Co. diamond studs and a bracelet that weighed in at 20 carats.

Connie Britton went for luxury in a velvet Naeem Khan Fall 2013 gown embroidered with gold and finished it off with Cathy Waterman jewels and a Stuart Weitzman clutch.

Amy Poehler [5]'s embellished-pocket Basler dress was a fancy cousin of the LBD — those Irene Neuwirth jewels were equally glam.

Black and white was an easy choice for Merritt Wever.

A halter neck and lots of volume made Michelle Dockery's Prada gown a winner in our eyes. The label also can take credit for her bag and shoes, while Fred Leighton provided the glitz.

Seems like the crop top is "in" in Hollywood, too! Rose Byrne flashed some stomach in this sleek Calvin Klein Collection style.

Julianne Hough went saucy in an off-the-shoulder and supersheer Jenny Packham dress. She picked David Yurman as the finishing touch.

The simplicity of this Ralph Lauren Collection pick is what ultimately won Allison Williams over. Roger Vivier heels and Fred Leighton jewelry finished it off.

Kate Mara picked crisp white J. Mendel with a high slit that flashed some gams. For sparkle, she added an Irene Neuwirth ring.

It was full glamour for Carrie Underwood [6], who picked a ball gown by Romona Keveza.

White Marchesa gave Malin Akerman's formal look a bridal feel that we totally approve of. Her petite box clutch was from the label as well.

Bold blue worked for Tina Fey [7], who picked a halter Narciso Rodriguez dress and Fred Leighton extras.

Elisabeth Moss [8], in a two-tone Andrew Gn dress, clearly couldn't settle for a single shade! She finished it off with vintage Neil Lane jewelry and a Rauwolf bag.

The red carpet's ray of sunshine came by way of Anna Faris [9], who picked a bright yellow Monique Lhuillier dress and Fred Leighton jewels.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus [10] picked a shimmery Monique Lhuillier column gown and an Edie Parker clutch.

Alyson Hannigan looked glamorous in a rich strapless purple Marchesa dress. She carried a Marchesa clutch, too.

A pearly pink strapless J. Mendel dress was sweetly feminine on Cobie Smulders.

Julianna Margulies did floral, albeit in a graphic black-and-white variety.

Kelly Osbourne had her Kate Middleton moment in a red dress from the duchess's beloved Jenny Packham. Her jewels were Amrapali — and her shoes just might surprise you — they're from Aldo!

The unique neckline on Heidi Klum [11]'s Atelier Versace dress caught our eye first. Her sparkle came courtesy of Lorraine Schwartz gems.

Carla Gugino picked a sexy red dress with a slit running from shoulder to waist. For a bag, she picked a small Judith Leiber Couture clutch.

A coral lace Naeem Khan dress from Spring 2014 was the ticket for Laura Dern. She kept the color scheme going with a rose gold Dionea Orcini ring.

A pregnant Morena Baccarin accented her status with an empire-waist gown.

Jessica Paré stepped out in straight-from-the-runway Oscar de la Renta from the designer's Spring 2014 collection.

Someone who was also paying attention during Fashion Week? Kiernan Shipka, who picked a tea-length Delpozo Spring 2014 dress.

A cutout neckline was the focal point of Mindy Kaling's short-sleeved dress (though we definitely checked out that Jerome C. Rousseau clutch, too!).

Ariel Winter was pretty in pink in a one-shouldered dress accented with a sparkly belt.

Zooey Deschanel [12] said she picked the first gown she saw on the rack, and we approve! The actress wore her J. Mendel dress with Chanel fine jewelry and Charlotte Olympia shoes.

A sleek column gown by Kaufman Franco was Padma Lakshmi's pick. She kept her jewelry simple with a large Robert Lee Morris cuff.

Netflix darling Taylor Schilling came to her first Emmys in style with a custom-made Thakoon dress. Finishing off the look were a pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals and Marina B. earrings.

Amanda Peet [13]'s floor-length Erdem dress flashed some leg thanks to a sheer overlay.

Emily Deschanel's custom lace Houghton gown was vegan!

A navy dress was simple but stunning on Maria Menounos, who got her sparkle courtesy of a statement necklace and Daniel Swarovski clutch.

A high neck and long sleeves made Aubrey Plaza's Marios Schwab Resort 2014 dress downright demure.

It was all about the rear view for Carrie Preston's Romona Caveza dress. The pale pink color and train were accented by a long row of buttons.

Ruffles ruled the night for Linda Cardellini, who picked a dramatic magenta Donna Karan Atelier gown. The dramatic look was finished off with Jimmy Choo shoes, Irene Neuwirth jewels, and a Rauwolf bag.

Mayim Bialik glowed in an emerald green Oliver Tolentino Couture gown, with sheer, elbow-length sleeves.

Sarah Hyland went green, picking a v-neck dress accented with black lace from CH Carolina Herrera.

Zosia Mamet looked like a work of art in a custom Honor dress that evoked the beauty of watercolor florals. She finished it off with Brian Atwood heels.

Anna Gunn went with classic black and white in a lace-topped Romona Keveza gown that she said she picked for the Old Hollywood glamour.

Cornflower blue was it for Giuliana Rancic, who went with a Mikael D style from Resort 2014.

Cat Deeley perfected the sexy vibe in a black-sequined Armani gown.

Leslie Mann chose a body-hugging J. Mendel gown.

Jennifer Westfeldt arrived in a bright red gown with a dapper — and scruffy — John Hamm at her side.

Jane Lynch [14] completed a sharp suit with a pair of black kitten heels, bold gold jewels, and a striped clutch.

Jewel glittered in a Tony Ward Haute Couture gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
