Eyelet

n. A fabric with holes punched out and embroidery, typically using buttonhole stitch, is worked around holes to produce the design. Can be done by hand or Schiffli machine. Also called Madeira (a Portuguese cluster of islands in the north Atlantic ocean) - area where this was first begun. A very popular, feminine Summer fabric.

Britney wore a eyelet dress the other day. With hot pink underwear. (At least she was wearing underwear.) This is much nicer.

Pretty. Actually, I love eyelets but I have to be careful choosing the outfits w/ eyelets. Because sometimes they can be looking like doilies. But I have some tops made of eyelets which I custom -made
