This song was the song of our Sugar holiday party. By that I mean, yes, we had karaoke, but this was the song that got all the Sugar girls out on the dance floor. Fun, huh? Beyonce's music is hit or miss for me, but her dance moves always impress. I like the simplicity of this video, allowing the girls to really showcase their dance prowess. The one-sleeved bodysuits also show off their firm dancer bodies — hot. And you know Beyonce has a thing for femmebot gloves; her metal glove is pretty dope. With New Year's next week, let this song inspire you and your single lady friends to let your hair down and get down, get funky.

Does no one notice that Beyonce is NOT single? She hasn't been for quite a while now. The song's catchy, but it's a bit odd that the anthem for single women is acceptably sung by a married woman. And except for the chorus, the lyrics aren't about being single, it's about her story of moving on to a different man after leaving her ex.

I agree with RosaDilia - I really use to like her older songs, but her newer songs are very obnoxious! She over-vocalizes to the point where I feel like she is screaming the song rather than singing it.
