FABTV: Guns N' Roses "November Rain"

I know it's a bit ironic to conclude another fabulous week of wedding bits with a tragic ending music video with a wedding in it but this video is epic! From the cinematic helicopter pan of Slash's guitar solo to Stephanie Seymour's infamous mini wedding dress, this video is beautiful. While it still remains a mystery how the bride died at the reception, I remember crushing on her black velvet slim-fitting column dress. And Axl? You all know about my undying love for him!

Visible, you may be correct about that church from the outside shot of Slash playing way out in the desert being built for the video, but the inside shots of the wedding & funeral were indeed my church. Just from watching the video it's quite obvious that the inside shots were from a church far larger than the one in the outside shots. Guess my memory serves me correctly.

That's real odd, AucuneRancune, because the church in the 'November Rain' was built specifically for the video shoot. Guess your 9-year-old memory played tricks on you. :)

November rain was filmed at my church, the parish & school I attended from k-8 grade. I'll always remember the day Axl was at my church when I was about 9 years ol - I was a rocker at a young age. :)

Oh! This song was based on a short story by the same name. Del James I think? They put it on the video. I looked it up once and got a copy. It explains things. :)

Wow...that brings back memories! In high school, or theme for Homecoming one year was "November Reign" - they played this song on the intercom every morning while we were all going to our first class!
