FABTV: Sheila E "Love Bizarre"

Here's one to add to your Netflix queue: Krush Groove. It's quite possibly the best of the old-school hip-hop genre movies, and stars Sheila E, the guys of Run-DMC, the Fat Boys, and New Edition. I have always been intrigued by dope hip-hop style, graffiti, and break dancing, and this movie has it all. Do the time warp and enjoy some silliness along the way. One of my favorite things about the film is the sassy Sheila E. Maybe she over-accessorized a bit, and had the same haircut as her band mates, but she was a funky chick. Need a song to get you in the mood for New Year's? Join the"Love Bizarre."

My daughter who was born in 1995(almost 13)loves Krush Groove and adores Sheila E. She's funny to watch. Acts soooo much like an 80's baby.

I just read last week that Sheila E (I know her as a judge on Band)is Nichole Ritchie's biological aunt. I can see the resemblance.

I can't believe there's a Krush Groove clip on here- the clothes are hilarious. I bought it ages ago just for the cameo by a very young Beastie Boys back in the day. I think I still have that VHS around here somewhere...classic 80's cheese.
