Fab Ad: AG Adriano Goldschmied

There's nothing fancy about it and that is why I gravitate towards AG Adriano Goldschmied's current ad campaign. Unlike so many colorful, controversial and over-the-top ads out there, this one is understated and ultra cool. Angela Lindvall looks hip in her high-waisted itty bitty jean shorts and black and white striped tank. And her leading lad's dangerous looks appeal to my weakness for bad boys. The pad they're frolicking in is not too shabby either - very Hollywood Hills. What do you all think of this ad?

the ad looks cheap and almost unprofessional.. very poor use of lighting :(

I love the ad! One of the best design rules I've ever heard is "less is more"....I'd actually stop to look at this ad while flipping through a magazine since there's not a million things going on in it.

the woman and the man doesn't truly....match or clash together. Doesn't grab me either.

it doesn't grab me. if my mom could pull it off, generally I'm not wow'ed (no offense mom), it's just that these people have enough money to have awesome, eccentric outfits and opt for boring.

It's okay. I do like the simplicity of it but I don't dig that you can't see most of the outfit and the looks on their faces are just stupid. He looks peed off.

Pretty cool, her visible leg looks nice. :D I'm not too sure what they're selling, though, but that's not unusual in today's advertising.

Simplicity is fine but this doesn't look like they're even trying to sell clothes. The sunset is pretty though.

I hate simplicity. Anything can be simple. mind you, I don't like current ads for anything deemed "complicated" but this is simply boring. I hate the house. Nothing built after 1940 is attractive.

Totally boring art direction !!! For all that they can do with denim advertising ... it's too sedate and fails to position the brand in a memorable way.
