Fab Ad: Alexander McQueen, Fall '09

When you are known to be one of the most theatrical designers, you have a reputation to live up to. While we anxiously await Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 video extravaganza, I found his Fall ads. If you recall, his collection was brimming with goth glam houndstooth and sculptural shapes — it was nothing short of magnificent. I guess it's hard to top the clothes, so McQueen opted for a broken mirror background. The multiple image effect is sometimes cool, I guess I just expected more from Britain's bad boy. Are you impressed?
