Fab Ad: Escada Spring/Summer '08

Just when you thought the supermodels of the '90s have long retired, they come back in beautiful ads for top designer brands. Christy Turlington is the latest poster gal for Escada's Spring/Summer '08 collection. Zooming in on her flawless skin and slender bod, it's hard to believe she's a mother of two.

Her high-fashion poses, however, reveal her extensive experience in the industry. Maybe America's Next Top Model contestants can learn a thing or two from the veteran model. I love the simplicity of the background against the vibrancy of the clothes and bags. Christy is the perfect choice for these ads because she doesn't fade into the background, she also doesn't overpower the clothes. What do you think?

she looks amazing! the clothes look great and she really shows them off. Just one thing--it's agreement (that error always bothers me and it's so common!)

We actually have a good look at the clothes not like some ads where it is all about recreating a scenario or a feeling or an attitude without showing the clothes/accessories. C. Turlington still has it!

These ads are refreshingly non-gimmicky. I'm getting bored with ads that try to be edgy but end up just looking stupid and upstaging the clothing. *cough* dolce&gabbana *cough*

I like the ads and Christy is gorgeous- but it doesn't look like Christy as much as it should- too much airbrushing. She is always gorgeous and a supermodel, but they have taken something away from her features?
