Fab Ad: Kate Moss for Donna Karan Fall/Winter '08
Fab Ad: Kate Moss for Donna Karan Fall/Winter '08
Donna Karan loved Kate Moss so much in her Spring Campaign, she decided to use the popular supermodel to represent her Fall/Winter '08 collection. Shot by Alas and Marcus Piggott, the ad depicts a very sensual and mysterious Kate awaiting her departure on the Orient Express. Karan states, "There's a romantic classicism, a little darkness, an Eastern European kind of decadence. She was on a train . . . on the go, but feels intimate and sexy at the same time."
The ad features Moss sitting amongst a selection of Karan's newly launched handbag collection and was shot at the Union Station in downtown Los Angeles — could have fooled me! She looks like the quintessential classic beauty in a dark crimson suit and I love the old-school styling of her hair and makeup. Totally glamorous and classic.
