Fab Ad: Lindsay Lohan For Fornarina Spring/Summer '09

Back in May of 2008, Lindsay Lohan was chosen as the face of Italian brand Fornarina. The fruits of her labor — the Spring/Summer '09 ad campaign — have been released. The actress is seen posing against the backdrop of Los Angeles at one of Hollywood's most exclusive locations, the Stahl house. Though she's technically modeling, her facial expressions aren't much different than what she's used to. But the clothes are definitely more colorful than what she wears in real life. What do you think about these Lindsay Lohan for Fornarina ads?

normally i don't think lindsey is good looking at all but she looks GREAT in these ads! I really like them!

I've a tip that Bigwardrobe.com will be selling off some celebrity items of clothing. Last year they auctioned clothes pre-owned by various very well-known Bands, Models, Hollywood actors etc. This year they're apparently talking to some v big names. Keep your eyes peerled to grab yourself some genuine celebrity clobber! x

I can't get passed her blank expression to even see the clothes. Ugh, they could have picked some one so much better.

the clothes are OK, but Lohan doesnt do them justice. Perhaps a model would have been better put to use here? I mean, modelling *is* what models do- right?

I have never liked Lindsay; in fact, she is propbably my least favorite celebrity. I just don't understand why she is famous - she is a terrible actress, a terrrrrrrrrrible singer, and she now she has excelled in being a terrible model. I love the clothes, but the setup is boring and unoriginal (although what fashion ad now-a-days isn't). I am just so sick of seeing her ugly face...

These certainly aren't the tackiest ads out there but it isn't like I'm going to run out and buy the clothes because LL is wearing them. :shrug:She looks about the same as always.

I've never liked Fornarina. I think LL matches the brand image very well. Cheap, skanky, tacky.

BORING. I love the clothes and I love the ad concept but LL was a bad choice of model. She does nothing for the clothes, she has blank stares, she's not very good at posing, etc etc...

I like the clothes but it doesn't make any sense to me to use Lindsay Lohan. Aren't the models in the ads supposed to be representing a certain lifestyle? Those clothes don't mesh w/ LL and I think they definately could have found someone to bring a little more life to their ads.
