Fab Ad: Simply Vera for Kohl's

The time when Vera Wang's line for Kohl's will be in stores is fast approaching - only a month or so away until September 9! The advertisements for Simply Vera have just popped up and they have a fun Wizard of Oz-based theme. One of the TV ads shows a girl, wearing a Simply Vera outfit and a pair of gold heels, walking on a path strewn with yellow leaves, accompanied by a small dog. She doesn't click her heels together, but the tagline says, "There's no place like Kohl's." Cute!

Kohl's is also planning to launch a Simply Vera Web site accessible through its web site on September 9, to help show how the clothes can be put together. Everything sounds way cute, and better priced, to me - and as far as I can tell from the ads, the clothes look great. I can't wait!

I work part time at Kohl's - so I got a quick glimpse of almost everything before it hit the sales floor! But nothing in the line really impressed me that much...

lol i work at kohls.. just got the stuff in a couple nights ago.. shirts dont come on hangers.. have to STEAM her clothes before they go out!. .. shes pretty picky... we had a pink sticker thing onthe floor in cosmetics and she said it had to go because it was too tacky and she didn't want that sort of "kohls stuff" by hers... people come into the store and they just have to touch it!! lol

I don't understand why Kohl's is doing such a bad PR job on this. They haven't advertised or marketed it very well and the only way I've heard about it is through fashion websites. Even on the Kohl's website there is no mention and I've tried searching for it and nothing comes up. You would think with how big this could be for them they would do some good PR.
