I recently presented a challenge that was going to take some thinking outside the box. A Fab reader who lives in NYC seeks warm, semi-dressy flats to wear in the Winter that aren't boots or sneakers. She wants to retire the Chucks she currently lives in, so I asked you to help keep her feet dressy-cozy. I started you off with this Banana Republic Black Skinny Jean ($90) because she will be mostly be wearing the flats with jeans and pants. Let's see your suggestions.
Look #1, created by Claire Underwear, is too cute, especially the ruffle flats.
Look #2, created by klynnmorton, is understated cool. The leopard flats are wild.
Look #3, created by chloe bella, is totally cozy. I have those oxfords!

All these looks are so great! The flats in each look are definitely unique, and have great pieces paired with them! Great job!
1I think all of these looks are great. However, I've been in exactly this predicament - having to walk long distances in cold weather and wanting to replace my worn in Chucks with flats that both look stylish and keep your feet warm. In my experience, ballet flats just don't cut it. If there aren't socks, it's too cold. Where are all the supposedly trendy flat boots??
2I live in Washington and I simply CAN'T wear flats on cold days. I wore some Friday night and my toes went completely numb walking a block, it was horrible. Also, while those blue suede flats are cute, if the ground is wet or it's raining they're going to be completely ruined, even if you waterproof them.
3I've had a helluva time finding flat boots too...can't find anything that is not stupidly expensive or that doesn't make me look like I have flippers. Why are there no almond toed flat boots?
4In winter where I live if I wear anything less than winter boots, my feet are soaked through the socks! So flats in winter will remain a wistful dream.
