Fab Finding Follow-Up: Debutante Ball

It was a fashion emergency! One of our fellow Fab readers will be attending a decadent debutante ball this Summer and wanted us to help her find the perfect dress. She's required to wear a white, cream, or very pale pastel floor-length gown, so I suggested an ethereal look. It was up to you to make her shine!

I really thought debutante dresses had to be ball gowns, you know, with the full skirt and all. These dresses seem like sundresses you would wear over your bikini at the beach.

yeah i am not really feeling any of these outfits. the dresses are just not me, but i guess that's personal preference, maybe someone else out there will like them. i agree with tenndra5 though.. none of them seem "debutante" enough.

I am sorry, all of those are way too modern to be debutante dresses. Those are more beach outfits.

I was a debutante and there were a lot more restrictions then that. There had to be cap sleeves, you could only wear pearls and it had to be full at the bottom. Basically, we all just bought wedding dresses. There also couldn't be too much detail on the gown.
