Fab Flash: Alexander McQueen For Target!

Keep your fingers crossed. Alexander McQueen is rumored to be Target's next GO International designer. According to sources, the British designer and Target are in the works of stamping a deal.

If Target is able to secure McQueen, this will undoubtedly be the most superior collaboration in Target Go International history.

Oh so hopeful...so far I have liked one look from most everyone. My Jovovich-Hawk black lace tiered dress and my gray cable knit Proenza-Schouler cardigan have gotten lots of mileage :) Then again I wonder about how his designs are going to translate to an affordable retailer. I hate seeing something in a picture that looks awesome when it previews online, but when I pick it up it feels like junk.

Ooh I'll just about die. That would be fabulous! I bought so much of Luella's and Proenza Schouler's stuff but so much of it hasn't really been appealing to me lately. Though I didn't get a chance to check out the last collection. I want to make a stop by my Target to see Richard Chai, but I am nervous about potential disappointment. But I guess .. what can you expect? Making cheap clothes for the masses is obviously going to result in less than perfect craftsmanship. I still love the idea though... FINGERS CROSSED! :]]]
