Fab Flash: Dita Von Teese Frolicking for Frederick's

Victoria's Secret has its stable of Brazilians, Agent Provocateur has Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Frederick's of Hollywood, well, they're going for Dita. After all, lingerie - and less - is her forte.

Dita will be fronting a new line of (surprise!) forties pinup-inspired lingerie out just in time for the holiday season. The collection, "Pin-up Parade," will debut in Frederick's November catalogue, which is to feature Dita in a traditional burlesque feather dance, as well as ski bunny pinup scenes. Dita fan or not, you have to agree she is the ideal pin-up girl for the skeevy brand.

Dita Von Teese can hopefully bring Frederick's back to what it originally was...a fun,funky,EXTREMELY sexy place to find EXTREMELY sexy garments for women who want men to follow them whereever they go...the last 20 years,Frederick's has looked more like a slighty more provocative place than Sears....I hope it gets back to the SUPER-EROTIC glamour style it had back in the 70s and early 80s...including the pin-up drawings that made the catalog so hot...AND the tantalizing commentary"Keep Him UP! Frederick's Style"...WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet! I hope Frederick's can revamp themselves now that they have Dita instead of hanging off Victoria Secret's coattails(even though they were here first[1946]) or being seen as a skanky costume store. And I just wiki'd Frederick's and it seems that Bettie Page wore Frederick's!
