It has been reported that over the weekend, Jessica Simpson was busy modeling for the Fall ad campaign for her label in Los Angeles. Among the products she was showcasing? Sunglasses, swimwear, lingerie and outerwear. The success of the Jessica Simpson shoes (the ballerina flat was the number-one selling shoe in American in 2006) inspired Jessica, along with her master licensee, the Camuto Group, to expand the brand.
Jessica isn't just involved in modeling for her line though; she has also been very hands-on with every step of the process.
"Jessica is here and 100 percent involved in this brand," Camuto said. "She will come off a plane from London and sit here for 10 hours approving designs. Nothing gets into the store without her approval. This brand will grow into a complete lifestyle as Jessica sees it."
Be on the look out for more Jess-approved products like affordable sportswear, fine jewelry, home goods, stationery, fragrance. I personally feel, with all these celeb fashion lines, if I see the celeb wearing her creations, she is completely invested in it. Let's hope we see Jess flaunting some of her goods in the near future!
