Fab Flash: Nordstrom Eyeing the Big Apple

Macy's, Barneys, and Bergdorf beware! Nordstrom is adding Manhattan to its location hit list, according to the company's president Pete Nordstrom.

Potential sites for the flagship store include the Penn Station area by West 34th Street, Madison Avenue in the Fifties, lower Manhattan and the Columbus Circle vicinity. Prepare yourself, New Yorkers, for fabulous fashion and excellent customers service all in one spot!

That is just so weird to my that there isn't a Nordstrom store in NYC already - I live in CT and we have one.

I'm originally from california, now in nyc...and my mom mainly shops at nordstrom. I have to say, the customer service IS FANTASTIC!

I miss being able to walk to the Nordstrom in downtown Seattle!! And I agree, the salespeople are so incredibly nice and helpful. I wish there was one close to me, I have to drive almost two hours to get to Nordstroms now. :(

i can't wait! nordstrom's sales associates are so much more pleasant compared to the ones at saks and barney's. i thought they were never going to move here.

whatttt? thats crazy... i live in texas... i had no idea that there wasnt a nordstrom in manhattan. i figured that would have been one of the first places.
