Fab Flash: Topshop (Finally) Coming to NYC

Move over H&M - an equally affordable and trendy retailer is setting up shop in Manhattan and this one has London style written all over it. It has been reported that Topshop owner Philip Green is planning to open three Topshop units in the Big Apple and the first one could open as soon as in nine months. He is said to be scoping out locations on Madison, Lexington and Fifth Avenues and in Midtown. Wherever Topshop lands in New York, it's sure to cause a shopping frenzy like the Kate Moss for Topshop ordeal did.

Re: H&M There's reasonable, and then there is cheap. And Madam, H&M is cheap! I thought I'd find fashionable mid-quality clothes at reasonable prices. What I got was fashionable, cheaply made, sweatshop-wear. It's just like Forever 21: if I need something cute and in a hurry, H&M is the place. But a garment that lasts: better head to Target... ...and from what I've heard, TopShop is H&M quality with Barneys prices.

An Equally affordable? I don't think so... topshop is 3~4 times more expensive than H&M, and have better quality clothing. I guess for earners its affordable, but for students, ESPECIALLY living in London Topshop isn't really 'affordable', maybe a monthly treat. Topshop is more expensive than Mango or Zara. At least in London.
