Fab Flash: Victoria's Secret Feeling Green

The brand known for being proud to be pink is now going green (I guess pink and green do go well together).

Victoria's Secret plans to launch mini-collections of eco-friendly clothing, including fleece tees, tanks, and accessories all made from organic cotton. Heavy emphasis on the "mini" in mini-collection: the pieces will be a good environmentally-friendly option, but they will make up a small amount of the overall VS offering.

As they say, I guess something is better than nothing!

Victoria Secret used to really have some good stuff back when Tyra and Stephanie Seymore were there top girls. Now they have a vibe that just isn't doing it for me. I havn't bought any of their stuff for the last several years!

I wish more companies would go green. It may start out as a small collection but if it's a hit you know they will expand.

Eh. Somehow i have my doubts. This sounds about as reliable as Forever21 releasing an eco-friendly line. I don't know if they have the reliability to follow up on that, especially as American Apparel semms to have cornered the market on high-priced but sweatshop-free eco-happy garments.
