Twinkle by Wenlan creator Wenlan Chia is famous for taking bold, chunky yarn and knitting it into delicate and wearable masterpieces. Now, with her book Twinkle's Big City Knits, $22, stylish knitters can learn Wenlan's ways, her secrets, patterns, and advice on techniques, choosing yarns and materials. The book features 31 of the designer's greatest knit hits, including how to make mohair shrugs, a wrap vest, a trendy tunic and more. If you haven't yet gotten into knitting, maybe it's time you pick up this book and a pair of knitting needles, and start designing your Fall wardrobe! The gals in the Knitters Anonymous group, founded by malzie89, can show you the way.

I've always had the intention to pick knitting up, after I got into cute Japanese beading in 03. But with all the stuff I'm doing now, I don't think I've the time to learn. Maybe after my GCEs!

I almost bought this book two or three times and now since FAB is featuring it I will. I'm so happy to see this post because I'm a big knitter and I love books and all the new yarns. I don't have enough time to get to all the projects I want to.

I crochet more than knit, but I can't read those darn books. The numbers seem like a strange code that I can't crack!

I'm the exact same moemarsita... I can't read those books and I prefer to crochet.... although if I could I would get this book and give it to my mother in law to make things for me!

Oh, awesome! Let us know how you like it.
I can't wait to check this book out. I've been looking for newer knitting books. A lot of the books I've seen seem rather outdated and nothing I would want to wear. This may be just what I am looking for. Thanks for the heads-up!
