how neat! i have found that valley thrift stores often have good stuff, especially the one in my area. they have a "vintage" section that is particularly nice coats, dresses, or designers, and a fur section. plus a great men's section. and on certain holidays it's 50 percent off. i went on columbus day and bought an llbean fleece with cute silver buttons, a pair of blue moccasins, a sweat for my boy, and an amazing silver clutch for about 7 dollars or something crazy.
