All the Best Inauguration, Couture Week, and Sundance Moments Here

Jan 27 2013 - 5:31am

We won't lie — this week was really exciting. The presidential inauguration was Monday, which included not one, but many stunning looks from our very fashionable first lady. From her Reed Krakoff [1] cardigan and covet-worthy J.Crew accessories to her impeccably tailored Thom Browne [2] coat and her showstopping Jason Wu [3] red gown, Michelle Obama was a style tour de force. Lest we forget, Katy Perry [4], Eva Longoria [5], and Beyoncé also turned it out in chic looks for the inauguration. The week outside of the presidential festivities kept us on our toes, too. There was Paris Couture Fashion Week, the announcement of the newest face of H&M [6]'s eco-conscious line, and the best sartorial moments from Sundance thus far. Keep clicking to catch up on it all.

We waited and waited — and we were so excited when Michelle Obama stepped out in her stunning Jason Wu red gown [8] on inauguration night.

Eva Longoria [9], Katy Perry [10], and Allison Williams were just a few of the stars [11] who attended the inauguration.

Beyoncé nearly stole the show [12] — especially when she performed the national anthem [13].

While black bags will always be in style, this season try one with a hint of white [16].

Add a bit of sparkle — and tap into the color of the year — with a pair of emerald earrings [17].

The Chanel Couture Spring 2013 [18] show took place in a stunning, man-made forest.

Vanessa Paradis was named the new face of H&M's eco-friendly line, Conscious [19].

We have a hunch that we'll be seeing the Elie Saab Couture Spring 2013 collection [21] on the red carpet soon.

The front row fashion [22] was almost as good as the couture shows themselves.

Coach is planning on rolling out a ready-to-wear line. Would you buy clothes from Coach [23]?

In case you're needing some inspiration for Valentine's Day, we gave you 32 reasons to put a ring on it [25].
