A wide range of personalities and styles stepped onto the American Music Awards red carpet tonight. And while there was some color, the best looks were neutral, black, and all-a-glitter. From Rihanna's laser cut Marchesa to Kristen Bell's cool Christian Cota skirt and top, silhouettes were experimental. Glitzy accessories topped off most of the contender's looks. I voted Rihanna-so dramatic. But i think that the're were definitely some better choices to pick from at the AMA's these were not the best.

Rihanna's dress reminds me of a failed arts and crafts project. It's just not my style, I guess. Surprisingly, I picked Fergie.

Outside of the too long train, I think Paula Abdul looked outstanding.Fergie looked great also. The rest?

1) Fergie 2) Carrie 3) Rihanna And Fergie's Armani Prive gown with all the swarovski's is hands down the best!!!! No wonder she looks wow !

I NEVER say Fergie looks good, so you should know that I mean it when I say that her dress was pretty and visually interesting. The swoops were zippers and I think all the dots were studs. I'm a little shocked that anyone liked Carrie Underwood's dress. Or hair.
