Louise Roe predicts Fall 2010’s top trends will fall into two categories: feminine or futuristic. In one camp, designers like Zac Posen, Carolina Herrera, and Monique Lhuillier are taking cues from old Hollywood silhouettes as seen on the red carpet. In the other camp, fashion-forward thinkers Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Yigal Azrouël, and Project Runway winners Christian Siriano and Irina Shabayeva are taking a more avant-garde, Avatar-inspired take on what’s to come. oh my goodness; enough about fricken Avatar! the movie wasn't that good and I feel like everyone is trying to stuff it down my throat and connecting every little thing to it - news flash: there are other futuristic movies (and most of them are way better)!
that being said; I am so pleased to see that femininity, curves, and structure are trendy again; I personally am sick of seeing men and women alike dressed like slobs. obviously; I know that many people don't follow fashion and will continue to dress lazily; but at least there will be some element of elegance and class in popular dress.
1lastly; how fricken adorable and fabulous is Louise Roe??!! her name, her awesome accent, her gorgeous face and body, her spot-on analysis, and great style continue to keep me hooked on FabTV...
