Fabworthy: Forever 21 Plaid Swing Jacket

Though I love Forever 21 for its cheap trends, let's face it: It rarely stocks super well-made and sophisticated merchandise. So in the off chance that it does, I take notice. Check out this Forever 21 Plaid Swing Jacket ($28). It's too unique and inexpensive not to give it a chance. The best part: No one would suspect you only paid 28 dollars for it. What a delightfully sneaky way to fight the chill.

I went to Forever 21 today and couldn't find it. But it's not too big a loss. Forever 21 stuff is cute and inexpensive but falls apart really fast.

i too own this jacket...like the poster above me i made it my own with some chunky gold chains. i think it's cute, but it definitely has the potential to be unflattering. i agree with fab on this one...for forever XXI, this jacket is well made!

I actually have this jacket. There's nothing "swing" about it... I added my own personal touch to it by wearing it open and stringing a gold chunky 3-strand bracelet between the two front button holes.

I like it. Forever 21 and XXI are the same, by the way. XXI are just the bigger stores that have clothes, shoes, jewelry, lingerie, all the stuff, whereas Forever 21 is just the clothes. Semisad I know all that...

I don't think this would actually look good on. The buttons look pretty cheap too.

XXI and Forever 21 are owned by the same company.. and they have basically all the same clothes. the gift cards will work in both stores however you cant return items bought at one to the other.

yeah it's the same. i think they're going through some serious rebranding now that they're getting bigger and opening larger stores all over the place.

I'm not a fan at all. Maybe if I saw it with jeans and the right accessories I'd change my mind but alone, I don't find it attractive.

I like Forever 21 but I like their Twenty by Twelve line better. The items are better quality and not that much more expensive. As for the jacket above... I think it's ugly. That's just my opinion though. Maybe it's just not my style.
