Barbara Walters put a date on the end of an era during this morning's broadcast of The View, when she announced plans to retire in 2014. The 83-year-old journalist, who has been covering news — and making news — for more than 50 years has interviewed everyone from Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber to Muammar Gaddafi.

But she also talked to people who were known as much for their influence in the world as for their style — like First Lady Michelle Obama. So before she signs off the air forever, we're taking a look back at a selection of her most stylish interviews, with the likes of Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Lady Gaga. Watch Walters at work, here in the gallery.

Adriana Lima Tells Us Being a Bombshell Is "All About Embracing Yourself"

It's hard to hard to believe that Adriana Lima has been with Victoria's Secret for over 10 years now, but it's true, and the sweet Brazilian beauty looks like she hasn't aged a day.

It's hard to hard to believe that Adriana Lima has been with Victoria's Secret for over 10 years now, but it's true, and the sweet Brazilian beauty looks like she hasn't aged a day. Lima made an appearance this morning at the Victoria's Secret store in SoHo NYC, wearing a sleek navy sheath by Black Halo, to promote the brand's sexy new bombshell collection. Between photo snaps, Adriana took time out to talk about being a bombshell, finding the perfect swimsuit, and more:

  • On being a bombshell: Being a bombshell is about embracing yourself and feeling confident. There are things you can do to help you feel confident like wearing the right lingerie and choosing the right swimsuit for the beach.
  • On finding the perfect swimsuit: Number one is that you have to find something you feel comfortable in. It's not about showing more or less, it's about you feeling confident with what you're wearing. I love triangle-shaped tops and bottoms, the smallest ones possible because I hate tan lines.
  • On her favorite pieces from the VS bombshell collection: The collection is all about being sexy and embracing your sensuality. The balcony bra is my favorite; I love the shape and colors and it's very Brigitte Bardot. The miraculous is good for nightwear, it's very va-va-voom.
  • On her Summer essentials: A stringkini, eyeliner, flip-flops, a pair of cute shorts, and VS bra and panties.
  • On Summer vacation plans: Miami, with my family!

Brooklyn Decker and Vanessa Hudgens Share Their Summer Essentials!

Last night, two very stylish ladies, Brooklyn Decker and Vanessa Hudgens, attended the MyHabit.com launch in NYC.

Last night, two very stylish ladies, Brooklyn Decker and Vanessa Hudgens, attended the MyHabit.com launch in NYC. It might have been raining mad outside, but the two were still in a Summer state of mind, dishing on their vacation plans, favorite NYC haunts, and warm-weather must haves. High-waisted shorts and maxi dresses from Planet Blue were Vanessa's top picks, "Planet Blue does one by their line called Blu Moon and it's amazing, super-low drop back like a ruffle in the front, and a ruffle down the back. It comes in all different prints and is a super-easy go-to," said Hudgens.

Hear what Brooklyn has to say about Summer musts:

  • On some of her favorite designers: "I really love what Erdem and Dolce & Gabbana are doing. They’re doing all of that vintage lace and it’s really beautiful. I’m wearing the little lace Dolce & Gabbana booties, which I love. They’re fun, but still feel really classic and vintage. So that’s really cool. And I always love Elizabeth and James."
  • On comfy Summer shoes: "I recently bought three pairs of Toms shoes, which are just a really cool cause and the guy is from Austin, so I bought them in Austin. They’re the most comfortable shoes you’ll ever wear. So I’ve been wearing a lot of those."

Joe Zee Dishes the Hard Truth on Making It in the Fashion World

In the past couple of years, we've witnessed a number of talented designers forced to fold their business due to the ever-changing fashion industry and economic hardships.

In the past couple of years, we've witnessed a number of talented designers forced to fold their business due to the ever-changing fashion industry and economic hardships. In times like these, it's always good to get some advice from someone who has been in the business for a while now — someone like Joe Zee. We recently chatted with the creative director of Elle Magazine and star/mentor of reality fashion show, All on the Line, about what to do, what not to do, and everything else in between. Listen up to what he has to say:

FabSugar: What has your experience been like on All on the Line and mentoring struggling fashion designers?

JZ: It's not the typical portrayal of fashion, it's something that feels real, genuine, and authentic. I was so moved emotionally. There were times when I was on the floor with them, jacket off, sleeves rolled up trying to help. There were also times when I was so mad at the designers, and there were other times when I wanted to hug them. I was so invested in their final outcome.

FS: Tell us why you think it's so important for designers to understand the business aspect, the balance between creativity and commerce, in the fashion industry.

JZ: People have to live in today, you can't just be an artist for art's sake, because you might as well live upstate with the doors locked with no computer, no phone, and just paint your heart out. Otherwise, if you want to do this for business, you have to start appealing to other people, that's the important thing.

More from Joe on why designers should take business classes, successful and unsuccessful characteristics, and more after the jump

We've chatted with Maggie Rizer before, but we once again caught up with the fresh-faced, all-American model who sat front and center at this morning's BCBGMAXAZRIA show alongside Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Ashanti. She answered our questions before the show began and revealed her personal style, favorite designers, and what shows she's looking forward to:

FabSugar: How would you describe your personal style?
Maggie Rizer: Eclectic. Artistic but wearable, like I have all-American style but I love Yohji Yamamoto.

FS: Who are some of your favorite designers?
MR: Yohji, again. Nicolas Ghesquiere [of Balenciaga], Anna Sui.

FS: What shows are you looking forward to?
MR: I'm excited to see Rebecca Taylor. It's so pretty!

FS: What projects are you working on, since you're not doing runway anymore?
MR: A few things here and there. I live in San Francisco now with my husband.

FS: We love San Francisco!
MR: Oh me too! It's so beautiful! We go up to Napa, Mendocino.

FS: Pt. Reyes?
MR: Yes, totally. We were just there. My husband is a sailboat racer so we love being near the water.

FS: Are you a sailor too?
MR: No, I'm horrible! I don't like manual labor.

FS: If you weren't a model, what would you be?
MR: I always wanted to be a veterinarian. But I'm really glad I'm a model!
