Calvin Klein, always the advertorial trouble maker, has had its new fragrance commercials censored in the United States. Fabien Baron, the creative director for the commercial, gives undiplomatic sound-bites to the press. Apparently the commercial shows one famous actress rolling around a bit. Breasts are exposed. The Americans can't handle such vulgarity. After all, we're known for our modesty, social appropriateness, and self-restraint. Are we not?

Diane Von Furstenburg is using Warhol prints on a few Resort and Spring 09 deliveries. The designer is working with The Andy Warhol Foundation in reproducing these images on wraps and swimsuits that will surely sell like hot-cakes in the department stores.
