Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair Zippered Gloves: Love It or Hate It?

Leather and zippers usually go together like peanut butter and jelly but there's something to be said about these >Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair Zippered Gloves ($215). Is it just me or do they remind you of dish-washing gloves? This is a classic case of good intention, bad execution. What do you think?

there's just too much going on with those gloves, and you lose sight of the fact of what they are - just gloves.

Foul Foul Foul. If they gloves were less bulky and the zip only went to the wrist I might like them, as it is I think of Bikeys doing dishes.

The zipper is cool, but the gloves themselves look a bit bulky.

Personally, I would not wear those things to save my life. They are not my style.

Agreed. I'd love them if they were tight. And maybe of the zippers didn't reach all the way down. Or nahh that's ok.. :P

The angles in the picture are kind of weird, so I think maybe they'd look better in person. If they aren't as baggy as depicted, they'd be really cool.

Zippers and leather, MMMmmm. But I just don't think running the zipper along the entire glove works. Adding the zipper just looks bulky and uncomfortable -- I think it'd be a much more elegant look focused near the opening of the glove,

They DO look like dishwashing gloves - I think the problem is that they are too baggy. They might look okay if they were a tighter fit, but they are approaching the line of kinky.
