Forever 21 Belted Glove Skirt: Love It or Hate It?

I love me some tweed, but for this skirt, a cheeky accessory comes with. When I first spied the Forever 21 Belted Glove Skirt ($32), my reaction was a laugh. I debated pulling the belt off all together, but that misses the point, right? My gut tells me I don't want people smirking at my look. What's your take? Is it wearable or just for giggles?

hmm...i would like it more without the silk-woven hem. i think the glove thing is cute, almost reminds me of the muffs i wore when i was a little kid! i'm thinking they spread the gloves out for the picture, but if they were a little more bunched up...i don't think it would be awfully. conversation piece, in my eyes =)

The gloves look to me like the hand-print turkeys I used to make when I was a little kid at Thanksgiving...I don't like it haha.

If I wore this, it would look like I was trying to hard to be different and fashionable. I'm not digging the weaving detail and tweed combo either.
