Not all guys in clubs are desirable. And why is it that the undesirable ones are always the ones that hit on you? With this new Ms. Taken Faux Diamond Ring ($50), you can easily ward off unwanted men by giving them the finger . . . the ring finger, that is. All you have to do is put the silver key chain fob that houses your faux diamond on your keys and slip your ring on when said males get too close. It's a fun gift for your single ladies! I have a fake one and it works. I don't run into men that are really aggressive about hitting on me NO MATTER WHAT- they're pretty respectful and will absoluetly switch gears if they see a ring. Can depend on the places you go.

yeah it's true some (er or most) guys don't really care what ring or where you wear it. When I was single and shopped for a ring. I get drawn with wedding rings til I bought myself one. I've been wearing it forever! Now that I'm married I don't even have a wedding ring. I prefer it that way. The only wedding ring I wear is that from when I was married to just myself. LOL

my girlfriends and i would joke about being married to ward off questionable men ever so often. never tried a ring before. but the video was entertaining. i'm not sure it surpasses the lonely island's version, but i applaud the stand for ladies

I've tried this a couple times, and in my experience...guys don't care about whether or not a girl is sporting an engagement ring, b/c to them you're not "snatched up" yet.

My girls and I have been doing this for about 20 years--but what makes THIS so priceless is the video! Like so many others, I wouldn't buy this specific product, but yes, it can and does work (I was a waitress and bartender, too), and helpful in this day and age when giving some flip and attitude will also get you into a physical altercation with some of those dirtbags (some guys really aren't what whey used to be, ladies...)!

Fake is fake. Why spend $50 when you can buy one for $10-15? I think sometimes they work & sometimes they don't. I CAN be rude when I have to! :)

The whole idea makes no sense. It's just a waste of money. No man cares about you taking the time to put that ring on. When a man just keep bothering you after you've already said "no thank you" nicely, then just be brave enough to say "Hey, get lost buddy!" .....Strong words are always free!

ugh, yeah, it's sad that anyone feels there is a need for a product like this...why can people not be comfortable doing their JOBS without feeling like they have to lie about their marital status? anyway, since getting engaged and married, it has really made no difference...most men do not check out ring fingers...they just don't

I agree with the Claire's people. I did this when I worked at Dunkin' Donuts. I hated being called sweetie and honey and the creeps who would ask if I got off work in time to grab a drink. Ugh. Itsme is right though, it really only does repel the semi-sketch bags....there are still creeps out there who really just don't care at all what your relationship status is.
