I am #16 and I wasn't talking about when oprah introduced her I was talking about the beginning of ceremony. All actors/actresses came out and were intoduced together on stage. That's when she was swaying. I'm also fully aware precious isn't for kids. I'm saying as a young actress in interviews, etc she isn't a role model. I'm appalled that people don't read prior to commenting! For you to say she's pretty is insane. Go ahead and be politically correct, she looks awful and she's cocky and obnoxious.

I love it! It's very flattering and a gorgeous color. I love the sleeves. I'm not crazy about the silver detailing but, eh. If it didn't have that, we'd say it was boring. Maybe just tone the detailing down a bit. I love how the bodice fits.

ahhg. i'm completely appalled by #16's comment. gabby was totally playing off of what oprah was saying about her. the girl was in freakin TEARS at the end of her intro! no one is saying she is a "role model" and precious (or an education, for that matter) is totally not a movie for young girls to be watching. maybe she is a one hit wonder, but damn...she did a hell of a good job that deserves attention and she looks pretty!

I think that Gabby Sidibe is utterly obnoxious. I have seen her in a few interviews and talk shows, and I am not impressed. My thought everytime I have seen her - who do you think you are? This theme was never more glaring than during the Oscar opening where they brought out the actor/actress nominees. Upon her intro she was swaying her shoulders with this attitude. Take a cue from Carey Mulligan - she behaved like she should, like a demure, poised young lady not like she was about to get in a street fight. Have some respect. We know you are proud of yourself, we know you love your body, etc. But come on, she looks disturbing. She is not promoting a good lifestyle for young girls. Everyone is quick to comment about young actresses that look anorexic, where are the comments about this? Hello heart disease, among countless other ailments that come with being morbidly obese. Anyway, I hope she enjoyed her 15 minutes. I don't see her gracing us with her cocky attitude again as there are not many roles written for the gabby sidibe's of the world, and frankly I don't want to look at that again.
