Glitterati: Arielle de Pinto
While getting her BFA at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, jewelry designer Arielle de Pinto developed a unique way of transforming metal into crocheted chain jewelry. And you can see that versatility in her designs, which are made of sterling silver, vermeil, oxidized silver and nickels. V-shapes, webs and ribbons are most most prevalent in her collections, but Arielle also offers one-of-a-kind pieces.
Her jewels range in price from $160 up to $1,000. Her roots are spread throughout Toronto, Montreal and New York and she gains inspiration from pattern, weight and tactility.
