Glitterati: Bing Bang

Bing Bang was recently nominated by the CFDA for the 2007 Swarovski Award for Accessories Design, and sadly lost out to Loeffler Randall, but that won't stop Brooklyn-based designer Anna Sheffield. She's got a penchant for mixing metals (silver, steel, brass... you name it) and producing some way cool pieces like the ring on the left. Her background is in metalworking, hence the company name - it references the sound of a hammer against an anvil. Pieces from the Bing Bang collection are available from Shopbop.

The first stud ring is part of the Fall 2007 collection, so it might not be released for sale quite yet - I would trying contacting the company at inquiries@bingbangonline.com or at 718.388.0703, they should be able to tell you! xo
