Jelena Behrend is a New York-based goldsmith, silversmith and craftsperson who was born and raised in Serbia. She apprenticed with old world artisans - a fact which is reflected in the hand made, hand-hammered quality of the metal jewelry she produces. I love how you can see the hammer strokes in the jewelry - it gives it a real old world quality.
