Gossip Girl Blake Lively made her Golden Globe debut in a body-con strapless silk gown by Nina Ricci. The sequin detailing adds nice contrast and matches her glitzy bracelets. For footwear, Lively wore nude platform pumps. Do you like the Upper East Sider's look?

You can't help but expect more from her seeing as the character she plays has such great style. She should have stolen something off the set rather than looking at the prom section at Macy's. It doesn't do her justice and event though the nude heels are supposed to keep the attention on the dress.. it just sticks out and you can't help but look at them.

This is a perfect example of how important the cut (and the SIZE) of a dress is, here a perfectly normal girl looks like she is about to pop out of her dress, and she is called fat...well I would gladly have her body shape, but if I did, I would never dress it in something so ill-fitting...I mean there is body-hugging, and then there is so-super-snuggly-you-can-hardly-breathe- tight...

while i doubt anyone would say she's fat, the dress does make her look bigger, its just too tight across the hips and waist

I like it, but it makes me nervous when gowns are strapless and kind of low, or the cups on the bust look too short or small- like their boobs are going to pop out at any moment.

The dress didn't look nice at all, and that slit on her right leg made it look REALLY cheap. The whole look is just off. I would have thought she would go for a more sophisticated look. Her boobs were about to bounce out of that dress.
