Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, and Ed Helms were up early this morning to announce who's in the running for a 2013 Golden Globe. Programs, movies, and stars from TV and film were honored, just one day after news of the 2013 SAG Awards came out.

Today, big honors went to Argo, Les Misérables, and Zero Dark Thirty as far as film goes — Ben Affleck even got his first best director nod! As for the small screen, Homeland, Breaking Bad, and Downton Abbey got lots of love.

    Michelle Williams clutched her best actress in a comedy or musical Golden Globe for My Week With Marilyn en route to the Weinstein Company's afterparty last night.

    Michelle Williams clutched her best actress in a comedy or musical Golden Globe for My Week With Marilyn en route to the Weinstein Company's afterparty last night. She posed on the carpet withouth her best friend and date, Busy Philipps. The girls met up inside, though, and Busy later tweeted her happiness for Michelle. Busy wrote, "That was genuinely one of the most fun nights ever. So incredibly proud of my best friend!" Harvey Weinstein got shout-outs in mutiple acceptance speeches last night, being alternatively referred to as "the punisher," or in a memorable quip from Meryl Streep, as "God." Meryl was another winner who turned out for the company's event. She took home the best actress in a drama honor for The Iron Lady.




    Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's a close friend of Harvey's, caught up with his wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. Jason Statham, Rosie's boyfriend, was also there to share champagne with guys like Rob Lowe, Alexander Skarsgard, and Gerard Butler. Lots of stars and friends-of-the-famous rolled through the bash, including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and a Beverly Hills housewife. Nominees like Octavia Spencer, Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern, and winner Kelsey Grammer also stopped by — click through to see all the pictures!

Early on, the arrivals hit a high note with a bevy of striking — and somewhat surprising — ensembles: Claire Danes — who later won best actress in a television series for her work in Homeland — wore a graphic, backless J. Mendel; and Piper Perabo turned heads in voluminous Theyskens' Theory. From there, the gorgeous dresses just kept coming — with lots of designers turning up multiple times. There was Vera Wang for both Sofia Vergara and Madeleine Stowe, Prada for Zooey Deschanel and Freida Pinto, Lanvin for Emma Stone and Natalie Portman, and Dior for Charlize Theron and Mila Kunis. There was also plenty of Zac Posen, which was worn not only by Reese Witherspoon, but also by Elle Macpherson.
