The Chime For Change movement is about to take a new turn and reach new levels of awareness with the launch of the Chime For Change app, announced by Gucci [1] Creative Director Frida Giannini during a press conference held in Paris a day before International Women's Day.

Launched in 2013, the Chime For Change movement finds at its core the protections of girls' and women's right all across the globe. The main reason for the app is to enable the Chime for Change campaign and community to unite around this common goal and raise their voices through #CHIMEIN messages, aiming to fund projects supporting women.

The app is available in four languages in the App Store [2] as a result of the #CHIMEHACK, a three-day hackathon hosted at Twitter's San Francisco HQ in December 2013, which brought together the finest thinkers and leaders in tech to come up with this innovative solution.

Beyoncé has already lent her voice to the project, inspiring change for women and girls in time to mark International Women's Day.
