She may be singing "Blue Velvet," but Lana Del Rey doesn't wear any of that material in the much-anticipated spot for H&M's Fall 2012 campaign. The singer does don plenty of clothes from the Swedish retailer while she's ferried around the set and in front of the camera of Johan Renck, who has created a universe for the ad that draws on the work of filmmaker David Lynch. The full ad is expected to be released on Sept. 20; for now, a sneak peek in the video below.

Remember during Couture week when Anna Dello Russo was spotted frolicking around Place Vendome in a pink ball gown and toting a set of turquoise luggage? Turns out that luggage — and in fact all the accessories she was wearing, right down to the bejeweled gator sunglasses perched atop her head — belong to her upcoming H&M collaboration. (The dress was Oscar de la Renta; the frolicking, part of a photo shoot for the September issue of Vogue Russia.)

Now that the issue of Vogue Russia has finally hit newsstands, those images — plus others — have made their way onto the web. What they reveal is not only a much more complete look at the collection, but also a much more intriguing one. Diamante "A" earrings, oversized chain necklaces emblazoned with Dello Russo's name, hinged alligator collars, giant deer charms, bejeweled minaudieries, gold ankle booties — all the pieces are big, glitzy, and very ADR.

Lana Del Rey Stars in H&M's Fall Campaign | Pictures

H&M has released additional images from its Fall 2012 ad campaign, featuring Lana Del Rey photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The brand released two teaser images of the singer wearing a pink sweater in mid July, and the new ads see Del Rey attired in more of the brand's seasonal offerings.

The ads will be accompanied by a music video for Del Rey's cover of "Blue Velvet," directed by Johan Renck, which will debut on Sept. 19. Edited versions of the music video will be used as television commercials.

"Lana is totally unique, and we wanted to create a print and film campaign that's just as special," said H&M creative director Donald Schneider. "The mood is very LA noir and is inspired by our Fall collection, which also fits with Lana's own personal style."

Del Rey will also appear in a second set of ads shot by Solve Sundsbo that will feature H&M's Winter clothing. Those ads are expected to be released later in the year. For now, a glimpse of H&M's Fall campaign in the gallery.
