Definitely. I really love certain kinds of boho bags, but if the strap is a certain width it'll wedge itself in riiiight down between my shoulder and neck. If I don't constantly readjust my
back will still be paying two days later!
my current favorite bag has a habit of sliding off of my shoulder so i'm ALWAYS lifting my shoulder, pulling it up and looking all lopsided. O_o ...it hurts.
Yes. I know they tell you to switch shoulders, but for whatever reason my tote
bag only feels secure on my right shoulder. Which means a bit of a pain.
No, but I've noticed that switching to my Coach swing pack, which doesn't allow me to overstuff like my other gigantic bags, there is relief on my shoulders. I do have anxiety that I can't
fit my whole life in the bag,so I might leave something at home which may be more detrimental than an achy shoulder!

Yes. I'm a large tote bag girl and currently I've been lugging around a large tote where I fit some of my holiday shopping bags and my neck and shoulder are killing me.
yes. I tend to gravitate towards huge bags which usually means overstuffing them while my shoulder is in pain..
on the positive side I always seem to be prepared....ANYTHING you need is probably in my bag
I've been trying to put as little as possible in my bags now, to keep thei weight off the shoulder... kind of dumb, since my bags are pretty big -- but they just weigh so much on their own!!
I think the worst for the back is when I wear my big hobo with the strap long and slung cross-body. It just distributes the weight in a weird way.
I put everything in my bag! I love big totes so instead of having some books or whatever to carry, I just stuff my bags. I might blame big bags for why I haven't grown much.
This doesn't happen to me on the regular but when I have been traveling through Europe a few times I'll take with me one of those BIG Herve Chapelier kind of overnight bags and I carry it
around with me and by the end of my trip I needed a massage BIG TIME!
I always overstuff my big purses, I actually had to stop carrying one of my favorites because it was soooo big that just the bag itself weighed down one side of my body:P
i don't carry a backpack at college, i have a big old tote to carry things around in so yes, on my busy days, it does cause some serious shoulder pain.
basically what rmur said--purses come bookbags always tend to kill me, but they look so damn good.
my arm and shoulder hurt sooo bad this summer when i visited LA and my cousin let me borrow her louis bag, but i was NOT going to complain--it was too fab.
My HUGE Juicy leather hobo is KILLING my shoulders. First off, the size is big enough to fit both my doggies in. Secondly, there are those heavy trinkets that come with them. Cute, but
painful!
I am working with a handbag designing company and let me tell you, there is a product that is currently in production that will eliminate all of the above problems! As a handbag addict (with
over 90 handbags from Balenciaga, LV, BV, Gucci, Prada, Chanel, JChoo, etc..)I share your pain of "the shoulder" thing!
I think they are shooting for Spring release of this wonderful product.
If I carry a big bag I end to fill it with stuff that I don't need, and that's a pain, literally! Last year I bought a cute, compact medium sized Marc Jacobs shoulder bag which fits
everything I need, and stores it all in an organised fashion, and now I only ever use that bag because I'm not in pain from carrying it!

Both Amy Smart and Ali Larter looked beautiful in black at an event at ARCADE in LA. While Amy opted for cool-printed pants and a basic blazer, Ali embraced her pregnancy to the fullest with her formfitting Isabella Oliver maternity dress.
YES my shoulder is killing me !!!

5Not back pain, but my arm hurts from carrying it. But it's probably my fault for putting so much junk in there.

19No I usually carry small purses and I don't stuff the larger bags.
20Yeah because I usually carry large handbags which i tend to over stuff. So by the end of the day my shoulder is killing me
21Does my backpack in high school count? Since then I've been pretty good about keeping my bags as light as possible.
22My HUGE Juicy leather hobo is KILLING my shoulders. First off, the size is big enough to fit both my doggies in. Secondly, there are those heavy trinkets that come with them. Cute, but painful!
23arm pains for sure!
24Shoulder pains, but not really back pains...
25Throughout high school I would use big handbags to carry my books and it used to kill my shoulder. I surprised I don't walk lopsided!

27I have had this issue always, seeing I always have a purse full of things I "absolutely" need >_
28yup my shoulder from the bag's handler once or twice
29I try to switch shoulders, but its always more comfy on one
30I almost never have a bag and if I do I don't have a lot of stuff crammed in.
31not back pain, but shoulder pain - but that's only because I carry wayyy too much crap...
