Buyer's remorse is EVIL. I've had that monkey on my back for ages.Like the 40 dollar pair of long black leather gloves...that are just a SMIDGE too tight on my forearms. Should have said NO! 40 bucks for good quality long leather gloves isn't horrid, but I've worn them twice, and kicked myself for buying them. Next season they'll be anathema, and still in my drawer...bugger!

I dont buy something on sale unless I would also buy it for its full price. Meaning I only buy what I love. Although Im always looking for the things I love on sale
Oh my. Yes, I mostly do this when shopping online. I'll think that I like it and get over excited because it is on sale. Usually once I get it I hate it because of the fit, or cheap material, or any reason I would have clearly seen if I bought it in person.
I'm trying really hard to only buy stuff I love- my husband too! I find that if I only buy stuff I love, I like my wardrobe (even if it's a little less packed) much better than if its stocked with sale items!
This happens more when I shop online!!! I just bought some really ugly patent (synthetic leather) pumps with a red heel which turned out to be fake suede. I sure didn't see that on the pic!!! This happens just a little too often!!! I do try to stop doing it, but sometimes I can't help it.
yes i do it!... but i have been tryin not too.. cuz it usually just sits in my closet and the tags stay on it for a LONG time, and i try and wear it one day and im like um... NO!.. sooo unless i can picture myself wearing it atleast a few times then i try not to buy it
i have gotten caught up in the moment and bought a few unsavory items, only to look at them a week later and wonder what i was thinking. i have made a promise to never do this again. a great bargain is still wasted money if you hate the item.

The question isn't whether you bought something you didn't like just because it was on sale, the question is whether you bought something you didn't LOVE. I've never bought anything I hated on sale, but I've definitely bought things that I wasn't in love with because the sale was "too good" to pass up.
Sure, I do... I very rarely find things that I LOVE anyway, and most of the time, they are way out of my price range. There are plenty of times where I find a great deal on a pair of shoes and I don't covet them but it's a good deal and I need a pair of whatever kind of shoes, so I buy them. I certainly never by anything that I don't like, and I don't buy things "just because", but if I've been actively looking for something similar or it fills a hole in my wardrobe, then a sale will encourage me to pick up a different item than the exact one for which I was hoping. I'm always happy with my purchases at the end of the day and it does save me a lot of money.
