They way I think of it when that happens is it was not meant to be! Think about it: do you really want something that ALLL those other people who bought it also own?
I'm super proud of myself for buying my daughter's Christmas dress really early this year though, it sold out the week after I got it (end of October) and they haven't gotten it back in stock
since.
Yes, this happens to me from time to time - it takes a crowbar to pry me from my money, especially for bigger-ticket items (like, over $100...I was raised as a thrift-store shopper). I always
prefer to wait and see if the coveted item is still on my mind a week later; then I might buy it. Sometimes it sells out, but frankly, I have so much "stuff" already that I can always live
without it. After a while, I forget about it completely and move on to the next thing. Ah, rampant consumerism.
agree fauxcat. i have a saying, something else you want just as much will always come along. i hate when i want something so bad, wait, then finally get it, then am not so enamored with it.
it's making me really consider what is really me and what is just a trend. stuff i buy that is me, i usually love for a long time. trendy popular stuff, i tire of once i get it. i try and
stay under the 100$ cap but it's hard these days, everything is so ridiculously priced. especially t-shirts! 80+ for a t-shirt and sheer at that?! please.

Cat Deeley looked casual and cute outside the BBC Radio One studios in London. She wore Hudson black skinny jeans and kept warm with a feminine white pom pom scarf and soft green leather jacket (similar in color to this one by Tory Burch), adding a Pauric Sweeney python bag and tough combat boots to give the look more of an edge.
this is the story of my life
1two words- Chanel Jade.
2i am hot on the search for a pair of seychelles little white lie flats. it's like they disappeared from the interwebs! crushing.
3Ugh yes. I hate it when that happens!

5That's happened to me many times, but I told myself that there is always going to be something new I can look forward to.
6Ugh! The worst! Forever 21 is synonymous for this always running out of items and whatnot.
7Never
8ALL THE TIME!!!!
9Always

11I'm actually kinda happy when that happens. No money used!
12Yeah but I think I get more mad when I buy something and then it goes on sale!
13Nope. I usually only do that for expensive items, but even for those, I've never put off buying for so long that it sold out.
Totally agree, Shop_Oholic. And I'm too lazy to go ask for a refund. It sucks.
14YES! The most recent things: Chanel Jade polish and the Nanette Lepore Cafe Paris sheath dress. Tear.
15it always happens when i can't afford it when i discover it, and by the time i get paid, it's GONE.
16Wait, there are actually people to whom this has NEVER happened?
Do they lack impulse control? Do they beat up other shoppers? Are they unfathomably rich? Please tell me your secrets.
17#16 - It's the exact same for me. If I don't have money, I obviously can't get it. By the time I can afford to get it, it's gone. Like you said.
#17 - They're either lying, quite rich, or they're one of those compulsive shoppers that buy everything and end up in major debt.

19I like the way 'fauxcat' put it!
20there's always a better deal lurking around.. or may be a better use for the money that was not spent !!!
