Henry Cuir Puzzle Tote: Love It or Hate It?

Is it me or does this Henry Cuir Puzzle Tote, $995, look like a Shar Pei? Henry Cuir's bags are completely handmade and handstitched in Italy, but I think he missed the mark with this one and aimed for a puzzle that turned out totally puzzling. I think you know where I stand, what about you?

I'm not digging this bag. Nor am I digging the price. I don't think I could justify spending that kind of money on a purse. I think our rent is 1000 euros.

I like totes in general, but the texture on this one seems a bit strange - it looks like it's covered with glued-on leaves.

I like it!! Pretty cute bag!! The crazy stitching works because the bag doesn't have a ton of other detailing to distract from it. Wouldn't pay that much for it though!

This bag is way more awesome in person. I don't even like it in this picture, but I loved it in Barneys. The leather on Henry Cuir bags is so soft and rugged.

YES! it does resemble a Shar Pai, lol. Right down to the color. That's probably where the inspiration came from. Well having said that, Shar Pai's are kinda cute in a sort of puzzling way. :-)
