Funky for some people as long as they do it right and look CLEAN. But definitely NOT for me. It just reminds me of how Cory Kennedy, all haggard and stale! Bleh.

I dress like this a lot of time. In Austin, we kinda rock the non-threatening, sweet hipster look. Not so bitchy-looking. I personally love skinny jeans. I used to never wear jeans because boot cut doesn't flatter me at all.

I like the styles of the clothes. For example; I like the bold patterns of light and soft fabric tops. They're usually made to be one size too big looking, and I like that because it's very comfortable and especially summer friendly. I also like the tight jeans thing. I think my legs look amazing in tight jeans because I have an hourglass figure. The clothes of this trend are fun, young and comfortable. However, the persona that comes along with being someone [especially a woman] who is associated with the social movement is awful. Most ladies that dress like this are catty, self obsessed, and unfortunately pretty loose. Rather, that's the general outlook on people who dress like this. [THANKS, COBRASNAKE!] I happen to dress like this. Like I wear bold printed loose tops and very tight jeans with some sort of cute, boho-ish accessory. And my hair's pretty shaggy, though I wash it constantly! However, if I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror before I go out and I look SEVERELY hipster, I go back to my closet and take it down a few notches. There's no need to succumb to the stereotype of looking like somebody who's going to get drunk and slobber on every guy in the bar. No thank you, I'm not that kinda gal. -JR

we used to make fun of the girls who looked like this, usually they were sloppy drunks, who had peed themselves cause they couldnt sit on the toilet correctly, and they usually ended up falling on the sidewalk when the club closed, and we would laugh...and point...and laugh some more

i love (and rock) the clean hipster look. straight hair with no fly-aways, sleek summer dresses with tee shirts, flats. my biggest peave though are those select few who try to squeeze into the tight shirts and pants of the look who cannot pull it off at all. eww.

i used to have blunt bangs but i personally mix EVERYTHING together. meaning certain days i'm "punk-ish" mixed with a bit of preppy. then other days i'll be "hipster" with a dash of business-y looking. its all my mood and what's clean at the time that i pick out my outfit. haha.
