yeah they also forgot the gown Joanne Woodward won her best actress oscar in in 1958 granted she made that herself.

You need to look up the word iconic and you forgot the year Uma wore the lavender gown that put Prada on the map.

Most of these are definitely out of the box, but I wouldn't call them iconic. Actually, a lot of them are on my worst dress list. haha. But that's why you gotta love the Oscars. The dresses are always interesting, even though the show itself may not be.

I CAN'T believe out of 50 gowns they never remembered THE iconic Oscar gown worn by Grace Kelly in 1955 designed by Edith Head!

Aside from the chic gowns, I love all the different hair styles: straight and sleek, loose ponytails, tight up-do's. I particularly like Marion Cotillard, Amy Adams and Sarah Jessica Parker working the beautiful retro waves.
