Christmas came early at last night's KIIS FM Jingle Ball when both Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus performed in holiday-inspired costumes that were anything but family-friendly. Selena vamped it up in a shiny red leotard covered with a sexy lace overlay, black combat boots, a black choker, and – to complete the full-on goth look – black lipstick. Miley continued her year's parade of crop tops with a red sequined option with furry white cuffs and matching bottoms. And, although most singers don't typically perform with their purses still slung on their shoulders, Miley couldn't help but bring her furry chain-strap Chanel bag up on stage with her. And why not? The strap perfectly matched those on her boots!

Our week was full of surprises — not least of which was how good the stars looked! Amanda Seyfried started things off with one of her sweetest styles ever, stepping out in a pastel cocktail number in Seoul. She managed to keep the look seasonal with red lips that echoed the other lace dress in our top 10: Lea Michele's Dolce & Gabbana sheath.
Other shocks came in the form of unexpected hems — Amy Adams in David Koma and Sandra Bullock in Carolina Herrera, to name two — and a clever repurposing of Keira Knightley's Chanel wedding dress. Click through to see the looks we loved on some very chic ladies.

Believe it or not, it's perfectly acceptable to give someone a pair of socks for Christmas. All you have to do is make sure that the pair is perfectly suited to the personality of the recipient, and the rest is as easy as finding the wrapping paper.
From the seriously luxurious, hand-knitted options to ones that look like your toes are having a party, these sock options should have you feeling great about investing in them for the holidays.
If you haven't bought your holiday look yet, now's the time — L'Wren Scott for Banana Republic just hit stores. And it's not just party dresses you can shop from the from the 50-piece collection! As we learned in the New York Post's Alexa, there are cozier options, too. Of the pajamas, which Scott calls her favorites in the line, she says, "That's all I can think of at Christmas: I get to sleep in!"
As for why Scott chose the brand for her first collaboration, that decision was an equally warm and cozy one: "I have memories of growing up in Utah and saving my money to shop there. I worked for a Banana Republic [campaign] with Herb Ritts, so I have a history with them." With feminine silhouettes, seasonal hues, and prices ranging from $39 to $198, this could easily become our one-stop shop for holiday dressing. Click through to hear more of her interview, sneak a glimpse, and start shopping!
