Hey, Allison McNamara here and you're watching Fab Flash. Today, we're breaking down the four hottest hand-eye trends for spring-summer 2012. And let me tell you it is all about texture. From snake skin to raffia we've got you covered. Raffia is a rich material that will add an organic feel to all of your outfit. Proenza Schouler and Burberry those showed pieces and incorporated this earthy texture into everything in skirts to dresses. And an easy way to wear it is with a raffia bag. I have some great options for you today. This one is by Burberry. It's a perfect day time satchel and it's really neutral. It will go with everything. This clutch is by Proenza Schoule. It's very summery, perfect for a night out, and I love how it mixes the raffia with the navy leather. And lastly, my personal favorite, this color block version by Burberry, it's a little wristlet, and it hits that color blocking trend which is still strong for this season and it's kind of edgy, will spice up all your outfits. Either way make sure to get your hands on a raffia bag this season. On the other end of raffia, tweed is also a must have fabrication this season. A tweed jacket is a symbol of sophistication legendary designer, Coco Chanel, and ladylike dressing is back in a big way for spring. If you're not ready to commit to a tweed jacket or skirt just yet, try a tweed handbag. It'll elevate everything, even jeans and a peach. Go for a pretty pastel over the shoulder bag, like this one by Miu Miu to add a feminine touch to all of your outfits. If you want something that's a little edgier, I think JJ Theory did it brilliantly. I like how they mixed the tweed with the leather fringe detailing on the side. Also you can go with eclectic and I think Jimmy Choo nailed it. This one has a tweed lining here that's contrasted with the crocodile trim and large fringe right here in front. Either way use tweed to polished all your outfits this season. Snakeskin is continuing on from fall for next season. We love the versatility of a python printed bag. You can almost think of snakeskin as neutral, this goes with just about everything. In front of me, I've got two great options from Stella McCartney, which is a vegan-friendly brand, meaning that these are both not real snake skin. This one is a fantastic day bag option and I like they will add a pop-up neon to all of your outfits to be fun and fresh but it's feeling a little I can just try out a colorful snakeskin. It's really bold and it's perfect for a night out. Long gone are the days of those really small, teeny tiny clutches that only fit a cellphone and a lip gloss. Large oversized clutches are very au courant for spring 2012 on runways like Phillip Lim, Diane Von Furstenberg and Michael Kors. In front of me, I've got some fun options. These are solids. They're by Phillip Lim, obviously very versatile and simple. Will go with everything. But you can also have fun with patterns and texture. I personally love this one by Diane Von Furstenberg and for some great texture, Stella McCartney. So when you're on the hunt for a new bag this season, make sure to keep these four trends in mind. I'm Allison McNamara. Thanks for tuning in to Fab Flash on FabSugar TV.
