How to Wear Riding Boots Like Emma Roberts and Zoe Saldana

Hey, it's Allison, and today's episode of Currently Trending, we're going to show you 3 stylish ways to wear riding boots this season. Emma Roberts, Zoe Saladin, and Reese Wither spoon have been seen around town in these comfy but chic shoes. So we're here at Nordstrom at the Grove to show you how to elevate a pair of plastic brown lace-up and edgy black riding boots. For our first look, we went for a playful spin on American prep. We started with a pair of caramel colored riding boots and then tucked in a pair of dark washed skinny jeans. On top we played with lots of layers. We started with a basic white tank and then put a stripe button down on top of that and then added a wool blazer to keep in line with the men's ware look. We finished off the outfit with a large navy satchel thats perfect for day and some sparkly earrings to add a feminine touch. For our second outfit, we have the perfect cold weather ensemble. We centered our entire outfit around these dark brown lace up boots that have an equestrian feel. On top we play with textures and proportions. We start out with this large, oversize sweater and then layered a crop shearling jacket on top of that. On bottom we added a gray pant because its more intriguing than a basic denim and kept the accessories really minimal but if the temperatures drop you can throw in a pair of earmuffs. Here we ran with a rock and roll vibe and started with a pair of basic black boots with tough hardware. On top we kept it all black and then channelled a tough girl look with a Moto [sp?] jacket. We swapped out our denim for a candy colored jean which is a huge trend right now and then contrasted it with the yellow neon plush. We finished off the outfit with edgy accessories.
