Isaac Mizrahi is a busy man. In addition to designing for Liz Claiborne, his own namesake line, and hosting The Fashion Show, he found time to create a collection for QVC. The line, named Isaac Mizrahi Live, will include a bevy of clothing, accessories, footwear, and even housewares. “It will encapsulate Isaac’s design aesthetic, and it’s not going to be too far from what he loves, what he has done in the past, and what he intends to do,” said Marisa Gardini, CEO of Isaac Mizrahi. Price points are still to be determined but we do know that Isaac and his QVC clothes will be coming to a television screen near you in December. You interested?
I love Iaasc, this will be interest to see how is desighs tranlate to QVC stye.
1I liked his clothes at Target but since he said "buy-bye, darling" to them earlier this year, I'll be checking out this line when it comes out.
2I will take a look. Miss some of his Target stuff...
3His Target stuff was great. Not so crazy about his Claiborne effort. I'm not a snob, but a lot of the QVC items are noticeably made with poor materials, at not so cheap prices, so I guess we'll see.
4I'm confused. Isaac designs for the Liz Claiborne brand and Liz Claiborne New York is going to be sold exclusively through QVC. Are the fashions we will be seeing Liz Claiborne or Are they fashions that QVC asked him to design for them? Can someone from QVC please explain this.
