The premiere episode debuts next Thursday, May 7 at 10/9 central, so don't miss it. To get yourself prepared, first watch this drama-filled episode recap. Let the fashion fun times begin!
Yesterday Isaac Mizrahi, accompanied by Liz Claiborne-clad models, rang the closing bell for the New York Stock Exchange. ..
The launch of Forever 21 in Tokyo today drew over a thousand people before doors even opened.
Bravo's upcoming reality show, The Fashion Show, starring Fern Mallis and Isaac Mizrahi, is poised to debut on May 7th and the contestants are preparing for the publicity. Designer Keith Lissner, who will appear on the show, just launched a bridge line this week called Keith by Keith Lissner. Lissner specializes in Marchesa-quality evening wear but wanted to offer potential customers something a little more accessible to match his television debut. The new range offers 12 fantastic cocktail dresses which are available immediately and retail around $250. Our favorites in the gallery below.
To say that Isaac Mizrahi has revitalized Liz Claiborne would be an understatement. The majority of you loved his Spring ad, so you'll fall head over heels for his Spring Look Book, too. The first thing it did for me was make me want to play around with color in an urgent way. Also, it made me realize the designer has the unique ability to make preppy and prissy look youthful and cool. Spring is a more lively season thanks to Isaac!
As if the Spring 09 collection didn't impress us enough, the Fall 2009 Liz Claiborne range is just as good, if not better. Every item in the collection, from the boots to the bracelets to the outerwear, is affordably priced and perfectly merchandised. The Spring 2009 ads for Liz Claiborne depict a world where all women look pulled together Mizrahi-style and we can't help but hope that by Fall 2009 the dream has become a reality. We say democratic fashion is the new fast fashion. Check out the Fall 2009 Liz Claiborne look book right here.
The hammer has fallen. The never-ending fight over Project Runway has finally settled in favor of Lifetime. A big loss for Bravo but the network isn't going to cry over spilled milk. Bravo has already announced a new fashion show replacing the former called The Fashion Show.
The reality fashion show rotates around seasoned professionals — compared to Project's newbie designers — and will feature designer Isaac Mizrahi and former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland as the hosts, with Fern Mallis as the judge along with other special guests. The twist? Each episode will feature a fashion show criticized not only by Fern and guest judges, but also by live studio audience members — interesting. The winner of the show will have his/her designs picked up by a major retailer. Interested? Meet the cast of the show and let us know what you think!
When Izaac Mizrahi announced he was leaving Target for Liz Claiborne, I wondered what kind of ad campaign he would concoct. Little did I know, he would put himself in the photos! Peep the designer sitting at the right corner in a neon head scarf, staring at model Georgina Stojiljković prancing by. The Spring collection is snappy, crisp, and so are the ads. I dig the juxtaposition between the urban setting and colorful, preppy clothes. Are you with me?
