Isabel Marant's Spring '10 collection left us drooling. One piece after another, we couldn't stop dreaming about what it would look like on us. Too bad the steep price tags woke us right up. This outfit Eniko Mihalik wore was particularly amazing — those leisurely striped pants, the fringe boots, the pink airy blouse. Luckily, we recently found a similar pair of casual striped pants that will give you the Marant look minus the debt. Shall we go see?

As soon as I saw these Madewell Heathered Slouch Sweatpants ($50), I immediately had visions of Marant. True, the stripes are not colorful and shiny, but you still get the relaxed French gist. They would work with everything from a denim shirt to a tattered tee to a silky black tank. The best part is that they're sweatpants masked as chic pants. Comfort and style all in one package.
